Understanding Match Odds at VV99
Many new players wonder — what exactly are odds? Why are some odds 1.50, others 3.50, or even 5.00? And how do you know if a particular odds offers real value? If these questions have crossed your mind, you're in the right place. At VV99, we believe that players who understand odds make smarter decisions — and smarter players have more fun.
Simply put, odds reflect the probability of an event occurring, with the bookmaker's margin built in. Odds of 2.00 means VV99 considers the event a 50/50 chance. Bet RM100 at odds of 2.00 and win, and you get back RM200 — a net profit of RM100. Simple, right?
What makes VV99's match odds stand out is our system, which keeps the return to player rate at around 96–98% — among the highest in Malaysia's Sports Betting industry. That means our house edge is exceptionally thin, and the odds you get here are better value than most other platforms.
Types of Odds You'll Find at VV99
VV99 supports the three odds display formats most commonly used by Malaysian players. First, Decimal Odds (e.g. 2.50) — the simplest and most popular format among Asian players. Just multiply your stake by the odds to get the full payout, including your original bet.
Second, Asian Handicap — this is an extremely popular format for football betting in Malaysia. Asian Handicap eliminates the possibility of a draw by giving a goal advantage or deficit to one of the teams. For example, if JDT is given a -1 handicap against Selangor, a bet on JDT only wins if JDT wins by more than one goal. This creates a more evenly matched betting proposition.
Third, Over/Under (O/U) — you don't need to pick a winner; you simply predict whether the total goals (or points, sets, etc.) will be higher or lower than the set line. For football, O/U 2.5 means you're betting on whether the total goals in the match will be 3 or more (over) or 2 or fewer (under).

Bet RM50 at odds of 2.40 → Payout = RM50 × 2.40 = RM120. Net profit = RM120 – RM50 = RM70.
Betting JDT (-0.5) means you win if JDT wins the match. If it ends in a draw or JDT loses, you lose the bet. There are no draw outcomes in Asian Handicap.
Betting Over 2.5 means the match must have 3 or more goals for you to win. Betting Under 2.5 means the match must have 2 goals or fewer.
